    Access97 Runtime License

    Hullo,

I want to have a VB6 ISX project that installs a VB app, uses various VB6
Installshield Objects and also installs an Access97 runtime, with the
    runtime license.

So far I have made the VB6 project, specified the VB objects that I want
(mdac etc), added in all the files that I need for Access (I made an
Access97 project and copied the list of files from that) and added this
    registry key :

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Licenses\8CC49940-3146-11CF-97A1-00AA00424A9F\Runtime]
    @=<my license key>

The install goes smoothly but when I try to run the access database
(actually a .mde file) I get a message saying that I don't have a license to
    run Access.

What do I need to do to add this license ability to my VB6 project?

    Thanks.

    Paul:

Looks like you are missing some dependency files for Access 97. Try building
just a Access 97 package with ISX to see what files it includes. Then
incorporate these files into your VB package.
