how do you set a default install directory location?

Is there a way to set a custom default install directory location as to not have to keep recreating the same directory for each software instance?
    Please see attachment.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

    Setting Default Directory

    Hi cphares,

You can do this by creating a directory (eg: LOGDIR, see the attachment); this you can name anything.
Now add the files you want (eg: Catia (Brazil) All.txt, see the attachment)
    Attachment 11563

Navigate to Installation Designer > Behavior and Logic > Property Manager, and create a new property:
    Name: LOGDIR
    Value: C:\Software\Logs

    Run the setup.exe
After the installation is done, a folder "C:\Software\Logs" will be created with "Catia (Brazil) All.txt" file installed.

Note that you can also dynamically change the path for LOGDIR during installation by running the following from command line (cmd):
    Code:
    setup.exe /v"LOGDIR=C:\NewSoftware\Logs"

Let me know if this helps

    Regards,
    Utsab
