calling a NewDialog Event within ReadyToInstall

I've noticed that I cannot call a NewDialog event from within the InstallNow button, within the ReadyToInstall dialog behavior.

Is this not permitted at this point...or am I experiencing erratic behavior?

It is possible to call it. I have called it. I think you need to check the condition you have conditioned it on. Also check the ordering you may need to move your NewDialog to be evaluated first incase you have any other NewDialog also. There is another possibility of achieving this also, you can set a property on that condition instead of the NewDialog. Then in the UI sequence you can directly insert your dialog conditioned on that property.

We found that each dialog event (NewDialog, EndDialog, SpawnDialog) within a dialog requires a completely unique condition...if not, then the last dialog event inline will fire.

    Here and there
Right, control events are unusual in that you need a condition of 1 to specify it should always run, instead of an empty condition implying success. (Described in the MSI Help Library page "ControlEvent Table"...)
