    Angry FeatureFileInfo returns -112 error

I must Get the date, time and size of files that the Setup will install in the target machine for creating the Log.

If I try using function FeatureFileInfo it returns the error value -112.

Say my component has two files I found out that, when a file has version info it returns -112. the other file is a .txt file, for which it returns the size properly.

    Thanks for any help.

Msi doesnt stored the date and time of the files. You can use MsiGetFileVersion to grab the file version stored in the file table.

If you want the date and time, you will need to grab these from the actual file once it has been installed on the system.

Since I am new to MSI installations, can anyone show me how to use MsiGetFileVersion in place of FeatureFileInfo? I want to be able to querry the version information on each file that is to be installed for every component that is in my installation.

Note: I am using MergeModules and want to get the versions of the components within each of these as well (sorry)
