Hello Community,

Somebody has given me a file named "Installation.isc" and told me that this is equivalent to our project file with extension ".ism".

But I am not able to open it. I work on Developer 7.03.

I want to know whether this .isc file was created using any of the InstallShield available packages or not.

I also have other related files such as 'setup.rul', its registry file and so on.

Plz immediately try to resolve the InstallShield package required to open this .isc file.

Thanks and regards,
Saurabh

To add in the above, the .isc file is of only 10 KB which I think should be of greater size. The logic behind this size is that simple .ism files of IS Developer 7.03 are always of above 100 KB.

Anyway, any immediate reply will be appreciated.

What do the contents of the file look like (assuming it's a text file)? Is there any information if you right-click it and select Properties?

InstallShield Developer and - Windows Installer Edition use .ism (or .isv) project files, and InstallShield Professional uses .ipr files...

Thanx RobertDickau.

But the file has some ascii characters and I can not understand them.
I know that following extension are supported by InstallShield products:-
.ism
.isv
.ist
.ipr
.ipo
.msi
.msm
.pcp
.inc

But my file has .ISC extension.
