We use PVCS as our versioning manager. I would like to save my installs in PVCS.

My question is what files should I save?
I know I should save the ISM file in the root folder but what about the Setup.BRK, Setup.INX, Setup.RUL, Setup.DBG, Setup.OBS, Setup.MAP and STRINGxxxx.TXT?

Where can I find a description of these file extensions?

Thanks for your help.

Save the ISM, Rul and H files. The rest gets rebuilt when when you create Media...

I guess ISD7 integrates with PVCS. Check the "project" -> "Source Control" menu.
ISD7 then saves the project as text files: ~117 .idt files for the tables along with one .isv file holding the table file names. The same happens when you choose "File" -> "Export to text file"

We use CVS with a bridging software plugin (Jalindi Igloo).

Cheers,
