View Full Version : How to pass a command to Acrobat Reader?

I have version 7.0 and am wondering how to pass a command to Adobe Acrobat Reader. Specifically, here is what I want to do:

In one scene, there is a button the user can press to search a PDF. When the button is pressed, the document opens and the user then needs to enter Control-Shift-F to invoke a search window and perform a search.

I'd like to have it all happen in one step. That is, the user clicks the button, which launches Acrobat Reader and also opens the search window.

Is there any way pass a Control-Shift-F to Acrobat Reader in conjunction with launching?
