I read this response in a post from Kim :

"...Since DemoShield does not officially support MPG video format, we cannot garauntee the playback quality of that video format. However, In DemoShield 6.7 and 7.0 you can use the Streaming Media Object to stream the video files through Windows Media Player. Make sure the video is Imported by Reference, then use the Streaming Media Object to stream the video file through Windows Media Player. Since the file is Imported by Reference, you can specify the following path: <path>videoname.mpg<path>"

So what format does DS OFFICIALLY support? I found the statement kinda distrubing.

DemoShield officially supports the following video formats:

You will notice when importing a video file into the DemoShield Resource Manager that these are the only file formats available under the Files of Type drop down.

You can use the MPG format within your DemoShield demo. However, we cannot guarantee the playback quality. This is why we typically suggest streaming the MPG format through Windows Media Player. MPG is a supported format with Windows Media Player.

I hope this helps.
