View Full Version : Can't get trademark symbol working in SDWelcome, but copyright symbol works fine

Hello,

I try to insert a trademark symbol T (Alt-0153) into my script (setup.rul)
in InstallShield 6.3, just like it is documented in the online help. I have
even tried using an escape sequence "\xhh" and the octal eqivalent. I can
get the copyright symbol working fine, but not the trademark symbol.

The symbol is shown correct in the script, but in the setup wizard it looks
like a vertical line like this: |

How do I get the trademark symbol to be shown correct?

The install is being run on a Win2K box.

Thank you,
Gary Brown

TM symbol is not consistent across fonts - it's not available in standard
Dialog font (MS Sans Serif). I would suggest not using it at all - it's not
worth the hassle.
