View Full Version : Uninstalling

Hello,

I created an installer, installed the program, and now I've updated the
installer quite a bit. I changed the structure of the components and some
other things, but now I've done something that I don't know how to fix.

I'm not sure what I did, but right now when I run the installer I always get
the Modify/Repair/Remove (SdWelcomeMaint) screen, even after I say remove.
What do I need to set or change in order to get back to where I should be?

I really appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Nick

I think this is the problem I have had once,

Check the system's registry, search the registry for the old and the new
GUID of your project,
you should find it in uninstall section ( uninstallation key ) of the
system, delete the keys that are related to your GUID.

Then open program files folder, InstallShield Uninstallation Information
directory, delete any folders with the name of your GUID.

In short, clean anything related to past present.
Retry your setup.
