Can Developer7 create a non Windows Installer setup? I would like to simply
distribute files to directories. These are non-COM type files and require no
registration. Our application could be updated several times a week (Among
several different clients). I do not want to use Windows Installers because
it caches everything. I also would not like anything in the ARP applet. This
is simply extracting files to directories.

Any help appreciated

No, Developer 7 cannot create a non Windows Installer setup. It relies on
Windows Installer for all of its file manipulation. To create a non Windows
Installer setup you can use Installshield 6.x or Installshield 5.x.

Better yet if you are only distributing files to directories, why don't you
use WinZip self extracting archive, or Microsoft IExpress.exe (type iexpress
at the Start-Run prompt in Windows 2000), or Package for the Web.
