Hello!
I want to set the program that use ODBC.
I have tried to set this program to the machine of which OS is Windows 98.
ODBC Driver is primary not installed at Windows 98.
How can I set the program with installing ODBC Driver to target?

Developer 7.0/7.01 do NOT install any ODBC drivers. The only way I know to
get the ODBC drivers installed using Developer is by including the MDAC
merge module or by manually installing the MDAC redist from
www.microsoft.com/data.

Hi,

It is not entirely clear to me what the issue is here, but let me try to
supplement Magnus's response.

Developer 7 will not install the ODBC Core by default. in order to
install the ODBC core you need to select one of the MDAC redistributables
from the Merge Modules view.

To install drivers, all you need to do is go to the ODBC Resources view
and select the drivers and DSN's that you will want to install with your
setup. The ODBC resources view is actually showing you the Drivers and
DSN's registered on your development machine. If you want to include
drivers or DSN's that do not exist on your machine, you can right click on
the Drivers node to add a new driver. You could also right click on a
specific driver to add a new DSN.

Hope that helps a bit.
