I would like to pop a password dialog before one can start the one-click web install. Is there an example on how to do this?

Thanks
Andrew

Andrew,

This is a feature of your web server, not the web installer. Consult your web server software documentation or ISP for details on password protecting files/directories on the web server.

Hi Andrew,

See this, this may help to you, to some extent.

1. In the Media Wizard's General Options panel, click the
Advanced button to open the "General Options - Advanced"
dialog box.

2. Check the Use Password check box. Enter your password in
the edit field.

These instructions protect your media library from being accessed without the password you entered. To get the password from your end user and verify it, you have to display a dialog box and call the ComponentValidate function in your setup script.
