Hi everyone.
I have two applications in Delphi 3.0, which have been installed using
IS XPress 2.01. Both applications are installed on the same machine,
but when you try to run both at the same time, I get an "$210C" error,
which I understand as not being able to run 2 BDEs at the same time.
BUT...
I left all the default directories that installshield generates for the
BDE installation alone, as this permits me to uninstall one of the two
applications without disturbing the other. When I located both BDEs at
the same place on the disk (Borland\Common Files\whatever...), I got
problems uninstalling the applications. If I uninstalled one of them,
the other would not work.
QUESTION: Is there any way to install the BDE so that two (or more)
applications using it can run together, while being able to uninstall
one of them without screwing everything up for the other applications?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
