I have a pair of applications that are distributed as one install. One app
is VB5 32 bit & the other is a VB4 16 bit. The VB4 apps uses Farpoint's
TabPro TAB16x20.OCX. This OCX fails to self register. Any ideas would be
appreciated.

The 32-bit engine that is launched during an installation cannot register a
16-bit file. If you have built a 32-bit installation to install both apps
this is the problem. You have to build two installations. One for the
16-bit app and another for the 32-bit app. You could create a single
install for both apps, as long as you weren't attempting to register any
files.

Is there a way to tell Express 2 to not register this one 16 bit ocx file?
The software works fine...I just need to eliminate the error message at
install time.

Thanks for the info!
