Greetings all,
I have written an application in VB5 and I am using Install Shield Express
v2 to create the installation program.
If I let ISX2 determine my file requirements it adds MFC40.DLL and
MSVCRT40.DLL to my file requirements.
If I use VB5's "Setup Wizard" it does not include these files (which I
thought were part of VB4 runtime).
The program seems to install and run fine without the mentioned programs,
but I fear theres going to be that one
machine out there, that is missing one of the above files or something.
I have one user that reported installing the program, and not having any
program icons installed
(program group yes, program icons no)
Does ISX2 need these files? Does ISX2 itself require me to add any
specific files?
Thanks in advance to any of your responses.
