View Full Version : Can't find gswag32.dll

I have created an installation of a VisualBasic v5 application that uses
the graph32.ocx control. InstallShield tells me I need the file
gswag32.dll. However, I can not find this file anywhere on my system. The
only reference to it that I can find is in
ProgramFiles\InstallShield\InstallShield Express2\objs\vb5\*\swdepend.ini
and ProgramFiles\InstallShield\InstallShield
Express2\objs\vc5\*\swdepend.ini. It seems to be connected with the
project language.

Does anyone know where is this file supposed to come from? It is not
anywhere on my Visual Basic installation CD. When I remove it from the
InstallShield project, I am not able to find anything that does not work
correctly. However, I would like to include this file if it is needed (I
may not have tried everything).

Thank you,

The file is not needed. There is an explanation about it at the Install
Shield Knowledge base. Basically they say that there are several version of
graph32.ocx. Some of them NEED this file. But if you don't have it in your
system, it means yours don't need it.
