View Full Version : Error - in netmanage not licensed to use in design mode when i use the FTP Component

ANybody encounter this problem.
Just drop the Netmanage FTP component in a new form and run it in
Delphi 2.
Cannot run on another machine.
Gives the licencse msg.
Is there any files missing ?

Francis,

look in your <Delphi 2.0>\OCX\ISP directory. It has a file called
LICENSES.REG in it. Double-click and you should have no more problems.

This still doesn't explain or indeed help solve the problem.

Has anyone got any suggestions as to why we might be getting this error.

Are you using any custom paths (such as "<szTarget>") and are not calling
ComponentSetTarget? The error means:

Target path for the component or filegroup cannot be found.

The installation is being run from a cdrom and is being installed on a 95
machine. The complete path is d:\setup.lid. Thanks for the help.

And the setup is obviously being run from D:\. What happens if the setup is
copied to the harddrive? Does it still not work?
