We are developing an application in VB5 using OCX’s. The application
installs fine on the development machine, but when we install the
application on other machines the OCX’s do not seem to be properly
registering. Has anyone else had a similar problem? If you need
additional information about this problem please post a response in this
newsgroup.

I should have put this in the first posting but forgot. We are using IE
Pro2 to install the app.

The scenario you have mentioned indicates that some of the files which
are needed for the OCX's to register are not present on the target after
the file transfer.

Make sure that you have included all the necessary files in your
installation disk.

As a test case use Visual Basic Setup Wizard and see what files are included
by this application and include them in the installation created using
InstallShield Express.

Hmm, this should be possible with C or C++.

Thanks, I'll try it.
