View Full Version : HELP! OC25.DLL - VB4 16bit

I'm having trouble getting ISE2 to setup a VB4 app correctly.

Problem:

ISE2 installs the app, no problem.. But when I attempt to run the app
I get a GPF from windows. Regarding OC25.DLL

I have the same app, built with VB4's setup wizard, and the app runs
fine!

I've compared both file dependency lists and both the ISE2 and VBSW
match
file for file exactly!

In fact, after I install another VB4 app on the same machine, my app
installed with
ISE2 works.. So I know it has something to do with windows and ISE2..

Is this a bug?.. Or is there a setting, in ISE2 I have to set?

Windows 3.1 Target Platform
VB4 16 bit APP

Help!

Could you reproduce the message word by word as it appears.
During the installation do you get any message stating that
oc25.dll was not self registered properly ?

The installation itself is error free..
The GPF only occurs when I attempt to run my program.
I have the same app, built with VB4's setup wizard, and the app runs
fine!
The file lists are identical. Programs are identical.

I've just had the same exact problem happened to Leonard.
Could InstallShield tell us what we have to do?
