Using IS Express 2.0 I get a GPF during the install process when the
program group and icon are being created. Is this a known problem?

Yes, this is a known problem. You can expect a fix in a
maintenance release. Can you mention the configuration
of the machine where this GPF occurs ?

I also had this same reported error with ISX 2.0 eval.

The station was 3.x. In this case the Program Manager group, it was
creating, already exist on this station. I created an IS5 installer
like the ISX 2.0 installer and the IS5 installer had no problems on
this same machine.

Yep, same error. Slightly different machine.

Compaq Deskpro 486/33m (EISA bus)
16 MB RAM
MS-DOS 6.2x
Windows 3.x or WFWG 3.11
No problems shown by SCANDISK and DISK not fragmented.
No TEMP files found to "gum up the works".

Installed from a Novell IntraNetWare Server version 4.11. Network
client is Novell's VLM 2.11.

InstallShield, let me/us know when the fix for this is out (MR 1) and
when I can add multiple SET environment commands, after the PATH in
the AUTOEXEC.BAT and I will cut a req. to purchase ISX 2.0.

It is not good when the first Installer I made with ISX 2.0 and the
FIRST Windows 3.x machine it was installed on, this error occurred
(Windows 95 was fine). This error occurred with the project manager
of the program that we were installing present. Not a good first
impression.

I have also experienced this problem using Win 3.11 on several different
hardware configurations.
