View Full Version : Cleaning a broken uninstallation

I have an installation (basic MSI) installed on a users PC which refuses to
uninstall, quoting the error 2711. Feature not found. I understand from a
thread below the cause of this maybe a known bug, however my question is
simple.

Is there a clean-up tool to *force* uninstallation, or perhaps a simple way
to skip this error?

Try MsiZap, which you can download from MS. Just search for it.

Microsoft provides a free tool called Windows Installer CleanUp which may be exactly what you're looking for.
