Digging up an old forum thread (https://community.flexerasoftware.com/archive/index.php?t-197040.html) that never arrived at a solution: I'd like to build at commandline with VM packs that are not under resource/installer_vms. I'm building with InstallAnywhere 2015 SP1 on Linux.

I tried:

<property name="bundledVM">
<string>@VMPACK@</string>
</property>

VMPACK=<![CDATA[/home/bob/project/build/installanywhere/ia_jvm.vm]]>

$ build project.iap_xml -btv buildtime.properties

I also tried:

com.zerog.ia.build.vmpack.linux.path=/home/bob/project/build/installanywhere/ia_jvm.vm
com.zerog.ia.build.platform.linux.vm=true
com.zerog.ia.build.platform.linux.novm=false

$ build project.iap_xml -p build.properties

The latter approach actually works on Windows, but not on Linux. Is there a solution for Linux? All my attempts result in:

No VM Pack files exist in this directory
...
Adding other errors: Error finding Linux VM pack. "ia_jvm.vm" Build using OracleJRE8u31_linux64.vm (OracleJRE8u31_linux64).
