Hello,

We are seeing a change in the way we display our applications in the Start Menu on Windows 10.

On Windows 7, the Start Menu looks something like this:

CA
Gen 8.5
Build Tool
CSE
Toolset
Gen 8.6
Build Tool
CSE
Toolset

This illustrates the installation of 2 versions of the CA Gen product.

On Windows 10, after installing CA Gen 8.5 and CA Gen 8.6, we now see something like this in the Start Menu:

CA
Build Tool
Build Tool
CSE
CSE
Toolset
Toolset

What is missing is the Display Name used for "Gen 8.5" and "Gen 8.6". With this missing, there is now visual way to differentiate applications installed for CA Gen version 8.5 and CA Gen version 8.6.

We have not changed anything in the ShortCuts section of System Configuration in our ISM file.

Is there any way to retain this Display Name or is this a Windows 10 restriction?

For clarity, I have attached 2 JPG files that represent the Start Menu on Windows 7 and Windows 10

Regards, Rob
