Hi Flexera Employees & Support,

Do posts to this forum have to be "OKed" by a Flexera employee before it is shown? Because when ever I try to post it takes a day or two before it is shown.... and currently i've been waiting to see a post made live since last week!!

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matthew!

AFAIK, there is no restriction of posting (see for example: http://community.flexerasoftware.com/showthread.php?t=184979 and http://community.flexerasoftware.com/showthread.php?t=193238 a couple of posts I've made of the past).

What might have happened is that if you posted something about a specific product, it might have been moved to the appropriate sub-forum (here for instance you're to discuss issues with the community forums as a whole).

And finally, you were able to post, weren't you? ;)

Hi pv7721,

Thanks for your quick response! I didn't have my email notifications / thread auto-subscribing set up so only seen your message when I checked back.

I'll try using the forum again and see how it goes.

Thanks,
Matt

Sorry to respond to this so late. We have moderation in place for new users in order to prevent spam. Your first three posts need to be approved. After that you can post without approval.

Thank you :) That makes a lot more sense!

Here you go! ;) And so I've also learned something!... I'm afraid that these forums were however the target of spam bots (I've seen 1st time users posting nothing useful but spam links in signature), so I guess that they had no choice but to put that in place (maybe what's missing is an information that your message was automatically moderated, I guess would be a quite useful information for any new comer). What do you think, Cheryl?

That's a good suggestion. I'll see if I can put something into the welcome email that alerts new users that we moderate the first few posts.
