Can anybody tell me why "Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express SP3(x86 & x64Wow) doesn't show up in the redistributables section when I'm creating a installshield project?

The .prq file is there in my /program files/installshield/2010/SetupPrerequisites folder.

I'm running installshield 2010 express.

That prerequisite installs SQL Server Express on 64-bit and 32-bit systems. Only the Premier and Professional editions of InstallShield have 64-bit support; the Express edition does not. I believe that in the Express edition, all of the prerequisites that target 64-bit systems are hidden in the Redistributables view; this includes the prerequisite that you referenced. The only SQL Server 2005 Express SP3 prerequisite that is available in Express is x86 one.

Great..
I just purchased 2010 express specifically so I can get a version that would do 32-bit/64-bit sql server installations.

That's odd because the 32bit/64bit prerequisite for sql server 2008 express is available on installshield 2010express.

I'm so sorry about the delay. The fact that one of those prerequisites is shown but the other is not is a bug. We have logged this as issue IOA-000054981. We'll post a fix in this thread when it is available. The fix will add the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express SP3 (x86 & x64Wow) prerequisite to the Redistributables view, allowing you to add it your Express projects. Thanks for reporting the issue.
