I have a setup that won't install the virtual directory on a particular computer, which happens to be a laptop running 64-bit Vista Home Premium. The same setup runs flawlessly on a desktop running 64-bit Vista Business, and another laptop running 32-bit Vista Business.

I've capture a log of the install process. The pertinent lines appear to be:

1: Creating application 'Default Application' with virtual directory 'GOiShopWebsite', website '1', and physical path: 'C:\GO_Win\iSHOP\SMSServer\'
MSI (s) (78!88) [18:33:09:613]: Closing MSIHANDLE (256) of type 790531 for thread 5512

1: Error with IISRT: -2105

I've seen other references to this error in the IS2009 forums, where mention of a different DLL is made, but I'm thinking that if the new DLL corrected the problem, it would have been included in IS 2010.

I'd be grateful for any help offered on this one.
