View Full Version : PreRequisite not running with command line switches when downloaded from web

Our installer package has SQL 2005 Express as a required pre-requisite. We have 2 distribution methods of our installer - one via cd which includes all our prerequisites on media, and another via web which will download any required prerequisites from the web.

The SQL prerequisite has a load of switches to run the SQL installer in silent mode and specify a few install options - I have set these in the 'Specify the command line for the application' box as per the image attached. When running via the cd release, these switches are run correctly, however when running via web, the SQLEXPR.EXE is downloaded but is run without switches.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Is there an "Alternate location to download .prq from if prerequisite files are being downloaded" specified on the Properties tab? If so, does this alternate .prq also have the command-line parameters?
