I am currently trying to write a simple program that checks out against a flexnet dongle. I have the program working in Windows XP x64, but cannot get the program to work under 64 bit Red Hat Linux. I have done the following:

* Got the program working against any hostid in 64 bit linux to verify program correctness.
* Updated the license file to use my flexnet dongle as the host id
* installed aksusb-redhat-1.8.1-3.i386.rpm using rpm -i <aksus...>
* The service installs and I can verify it is running using /etc/init.d/aksusbd status
* The program does not find the host (dongle)
* Running ./lmutil lmhostid -flexid yields an empty string.

Has anyone had success running a dongle based license on 64 bit Linux? Am I using the wrong driver? Thanks!
