Hi there,

I'm using Delphi 2.0 c/s with install shield version 1.0.

- Is there a language module (Dutch) for install shield ?

- What is the size of the Welcom Bitmap (in pixels) ?

- Can i make the Logo Bitmap in the main window transparent ?

Thanks in advance,

Frank Bombay,

There is a Dutch language pack included in InstallShield Express 2

The Welcome Bitmap that ships with Express is 443x269 (in pixels)

Express does not yet support transparent bitmaps.

I'd like to have the two kinds of options. I want because when I run an
installation inside another, I have to inform the installation, what
language it will run. But I also want the user to choice the language, even
if the user run in separate of the main install.

I found the error. I defined some wrong conditions for the Template Summary
in the ProductProperties this results to this misleading error message. When
I remove the complete condition the MSI works.

Thanks,

Hi Stefan,

I think you don´t know what I mean, I don´t want, that you must choose a
language at the beginning.
I want that the programm choose the language automatically. So I have to
examine what systemlanguage he has, and so, I must address the dialoges in
english or in german.

In media build wizard, disable the langauge selection dialog (you must click
the Advanced button on one of the dialogs to see this option). IS will then
automatically start in the language of the system locale (if that language
exists in your setup).

Will this be added to a future version of IS so that we could just hightlight a
language and delete it rather than doing all this by hand?

Thanks,
