Hi All,
I'm using InstallShield 12 Premier edition and building a single executable in InstallScript project.

Problem 1:
During the installation, if the user clicks on "Cancel" the installation "aborts" (I'm calling abort from the script) but the setup.exe remains in memory for around 5 seconds. This behaviour of the installer is not required and I want the setup.exe to exit from memory inside 3 seconds.

Problem 2:
The size of my setup.exe is too large in comparison to compressed/zipped/RARed file of the files that make my setup. To my knowledge installshield should do a better job at compression than winzip/winrar. How can I achieve better compression ??

Anyone having a solution for my problems may please post a reply here.

Thanks in advance,
cheers

Duplicate post here (http://community.installshield.com/showthread.php?t=169603).

Please note that Express Edition cannot create InstallScript projects, and does not support InstallScript language.
