Dear all

Where do i find normally the "reboot " method within a msi package?

i edited a package to customize our requirements (call a external batch etc) but i didn't find it?

I want to avoid to do a reboot after a sucessful deployment of a msi package cause this is very complicated for our users

thanks in advance for your touble

By default, the reboot is triggered by the Windows Installer service when it detects that a reboot is required. To suppress any reboots that might arise use the REBOOT=ReallySuppress on the command line.

Hi LeslieEaster

thanks anyway for your help

Other question: I saw you wrote a documentation to AdminStudio --> is this docu also online available?

Okay. That works. :-)

No, the book is only available in hard copy.
