I ran into a problem with the upgrade paths. It appears that ISE 12 is ignoring the "include max version" parameter in the build. If you say 'no' it still appears that you that it still includes the Max Version number. You must 'blank' the Max Version number so that it is ignored. Otherwise you will get multiple installs on the target system instead of updating the current one.

Do not include max version just indicates that it would perform a less than comparison rather than a less than or equal to comparison.

So basically do not include does this math:

if Previous Version < Version < Max Version then upgrade

Include does this:

if Previous Version <= Version <= Max Version then upgrade

Hopefully that's a bit more clear?

Thank you. If anyone from Macrovision reads this please update the help message in ISE 12 so that it accurately reflects what is happening with this option.
