I successfully built an installer targeted for Vista using IS 12 Express. Now when a user uninstalls our product, UAC displays the credentials UI saying "An unidentified program wants access to your computer". Clicking details, it lists the program name as "update" and the version as "1.00.0000."

Why is the InstallShield uninstaller showing as an unidentified program?
How do I fix this?
Thanks

Jerry

vista has incorporated some priviledge checking related to processes.
So,it asks for credentials.
According to me, it should not be the problem with InstallShield.

Sorry I missed this the first time around; this is a limitation of the current implementation of MSI/UAC interaction on Vista.
