View Full Version : Custom Action for Next button in dialog fails

10-13-2006, 12:48 AM
Hello all,
I have check box on my dialog which when checked sets a property say PROP1.
When the "Next" button on the dialog is pressed, I have DoAction which calls an InstallScript custom action with the condition set to PROP1. When I try to execute this, I always end up with a "setup interrupted" error irrespective of the state of the check box. Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

Thanks in advance

PS: My main idea is to run a custom action based on the check box.

The Express edition of InstallShield does not support InstallScript custom actions. Only the Premier and Professional editions do. If you are using the Premier or Professional edition, you may want to post this question in a different forum.
