Whenever I uninstall my product, I am being prompted for the original .msi files that were used to install my product. This is occuring on Windows Vista as well as Windows 2000. The error text is:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable."

But I can cancel on this dialog box and the uninstallation proceeds successfully. How do I get rid of this? This did not used to occur in IS 10.5.

Thanks,
Jennifer

Can you create a log of the uninstall to see exactly what it’s doing when it asks for the source?

What should I look for in the log file?

If your installation is compressed into a single setup.exe, it's probable you're being bitten by the failure discussed on http://community.installshield.com/showthread.php?t=159226. We've addressed this for the RTM, and I would suggest testing with uncompressed builds. That said, I'm not used to needing the original MSI for uninstalls so it may still be good to find out why it wants it.
