Hi all,

I hope I'm asking this in the correct place!!

I've been using InstallShield 11 for some time happily creating MSI which have our DLLs saved in an attached CAB file.....

My question is... is there any way to have a 'Single MSI' with no CAB File ?? In effect have all the DLL's within the MSI...

Any info/help is welcomed :)

Cheers
Jason

In the Release Wizard, I think you can select the Network media type + compress all files + no setup.exe to get everything in your MSI file.

Thanks for the info :)

I have easily found the "select the Network media type + compress all files" but where do I select "no setup.exe" ?? Sry for the simple questions but I have looked everywhere :o

I have found it !!!!

I needed to uncheck the 'Create installation installer (Setup.exe)' box on the 'Setup Launcher' page of the 'Release Wizard'.... this creates exactly what I want :D

Alternitavly you are able to extract an uncompressed .MSI file from a Network Installation using the /a switch.
