I'm trying to create a single exe image with an app that's dependent on the .NET Framework 1.1 SP1. I end up with the following files in the SINGLE_EXE_IMAGE\DiskImages\DISK1 folder:

1033dotnetfx.exe
1033dotnetfxsp1.exe
dotnetfx.exe
dotnetfxsp1.exe
setup.exe

I want the small setup.exe for customers that already have 1.1 SP1 installed, but want another *single* exe (not 5) for customers that don't have the framework installed.

Do I have to resort to WinZip Self-Extractor or is there an InstallShield way?

Thanks,

Answered my own question -- under Releases, Project Assistant, SINGLE_EXE_IMAGE I needed to set .NET Framework Location to "Extract from Setup.exe".

Now I'll look at setting up another release that mimics my earlier behavior so I can get at that smaller exe, too.
