Hi,

My problem is in regard to with the installation of the netcf.core, sql, and sqlce cab files.

What i have done:

Using VS.NET 2003
Created a test project with one default form.
Added a SmartDeviceSetup Installshield 11 project
Checked cfnet, sql server and client support boxes
Checked all under advanced ( for all processors)
Checked Autorun.exe

This result in a DVD-9 directory with subdirectories 686, 2755, 4000, 10003 and wce400. All directories have the relevant cab files inside.

Copied all these to the HP iPAQ PPC device.
Clicked on all the Autorun's

10003 returned Error: 'autorun' is not a valid PPC application.
4000 returned Error: 'autorun' is not a valid PPC application.
686 returned Error: 'autorun' is not a valid PPC application.
2755 was unresponsive.

What i would like to know:
Why the wce400 folder is missing an Autorun.exe
What folder will have the exe and cab files for the HP device.

What i would like to achive:
To install cfnet and sql prerequisites cab files before a .Net application that depends on those.

Thanks in advance.
