Hi,

Is it possible to manually extract the files from a .exe self extracting archive built with Installshield. I know that the zipscan utility can easily open the .cab files. With the package for the web, you could also extract the single .exe executable using simply Winzip.

In summary, in the past the process was:
Winzip->Zipscan-> You got the file from the .exe installation

Do you know a similar process for Installshield 11 single executable?

Sincerely,
lc

I don't know if you can get to individual files, but if the installer is MSI-based you can perform an administrative installation to create an uncompressed install image:

setup /a
