I am using InstallShield 10.5. I am working on Installscript project.

The name of the single executable that is built by InstallShield is XYZSetup.exe.

When I click on XYZsetup.exe to install my software two instances of XYZSetup.exe are loaded in the memory. I can know this through Windows Task Manager --> Processes.

What may the reason for it though it does not cause any weird behaviour.

Regards,
Anmol

This is expected behavior. The InstallScript Engine immediately clones itself as a process in order to allow for the clean up of our setup files.

Hope that helps,
Chris
