About a week ago I added the FeatureSetTarget function to the script, but it doesn't work yet.
Some certificate files need to be installed to a directory that is determined in the script. The certifcates are located in the Certificates component. The component's destination is set to a new directory entry called {CERTIFICATENDIRECTORY} [CERTIFICATENDIRECTORY].
In the scipt I call FeatureSetTarget:
FeatureSetTarget(MEDIA, "<CERTIFICATENDIRECTORY>", szCertificaten)
This doesn't have any effect at all and I can't figure out what the problem is.
Who can help me?

Thanks in advance,
Edwin

Make sure that when you specify the component's destination that you choose to create a Script-Defined Folder and keep the name in the format- <MYDIR>. Then in your script use FeatureSetTarget or TextSubSetValue with that actual Script-Defined Folder.

Hope that helps,
Chris

I think I have to convert my Basic MSI Project to a InstallScript MSI Project. I'm trying it...

Oh.... Yeah I was speaking from the pure InstallScript Project point of view. In order to do this kind of thing in MSI style projects you'll want to use an MSI Property and use MsiSetProperty to assign the value in Script.
