I've been tasked with bundling our platform and application using InstallShield. Since I've never done this before there is a learning curve. Initially, I need to focus on Windows as the installation platform, followed by Linux at a later date.

Can anyone recommend a good book(s) geared more towards a novice in this area? I'm looking to understand the concepts involved in creating a Windows installation so that the Install Shield documentation will make sense to me.

Thank you.

There are some options (books and training materials) here: http://www.installshield.com/ispress/...
