Is there any way to modify an entire skin? I am using the olive skin and all I would like to do is replace the computer icon with our company logo. Right now I have to go into the SdWelcome dialog and create a Bitmap area and delete the text area, then point my logo there. Id have to do that for each screen for each installer. Just looking for an easier way. I appreciate any replies. Thanks.

Perhaps this will do what you want---

DialogSetInfo(DLG_INFO_ALTIMAGE, SUPPORTDIR^"filename.bmp", TRUE);

---where "filename.bmp" is a file you drop into the Support Files view...

Thank you I will give this a shot. Could you tell me exactly where to put this in my installscript?

Any time before the first dialog box appears, so perhaps in OnBegin or OnShowUI?

It says onbegin is for non-UI settings. I tried it right before the Dlg_SdWelcome on the OnFirstUIBefore and I got errors regarding the SUPPORT and it was looking for a numeric value, the build could not complete.

Sorry, SUPPORT should be SUPPORTDIR.

That was it!! Thank you!!! Now can you tell me where I can find how to do such things in the installscript? That just made this so easy!

For whatever reason my bitmap is slightly off on the screens. It just needs to be lowered slightly but I have no idea how to do that or where its being controlled. I am just simply pointing to that image. I have tried changing its size but that has not helped. I have attached a screenshot. I appreciate any ideas. Thank you!!

Hi phess420,

Have you tried the InstallShield custom skin kit?

The 'skin.ini' file controls the settings.
