Hi there,

I have a Windows 2000 server with Terminal Services/Citrix.
Multiple people are logged into the system.
I've noticed that periodically agent.exe process uses too much CPU., causing sessions to slow down drastically, even halt at times.

This happens even if noone is using Installshield. People are simply running Visual Studio .NET 2003, and their solutions don't include Installshield deployment projects, only C#/ASP.NET ones.

I have recently upgraded to IS11. This wasn't happening with X or 10.5.
Any help is gladly appreciated.

Thanks.

You might want to check the settings you have set up for the Program Updates in Control Panel as to how frequently it checks for updates and which applications are being checked. Since this is a terminal server that appears to be used for production, you might want to consider turning off automatic update checking and do it manually.
