View Full Version : where's the MFC runtime object?

setup for legacy objects states that the MFC RT script object is available form the main IS 11 installation. it's not. does it actually exist anywhere in the known universe?

I went through the Update Service (Tools > Check for Updates) and installed the InstallScript Objects (not the Legacy set), and I see MFC Runtime in the Objects view...

PAPP:InstallShield 11 InstallScript Objects

@Windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600) BT_OTHER 8.0

Glad I downloaded 1Go for this :D

Ok I was a bit mean, looks like Installshield MSI Objects.exe is actually working.
I, nonetheless, still have issues with installshield11installscriptobjects.exe and installshield11legacyinstallscriptobjects.exe.

EDIT Strikes back!

I noticed, yeah I m hella smart I know, that any "Midnight" installation that I have downloaded from the Update Site isn't working properly.
Please allow me to download and install Installscript objects, I don't want to copy-paste my old redist directory from Devstudio.
