I'm a seasoned FoxPro programmer just moving to version 9. I've ported a working (simple) application to v9, used InstallShield to make a single-file distribution (setup.exe) and installed it on a clean machine. It installs without error but when run says "Cannot locate the Microsoft Visual FoxPro support library."

I make the project incrementally (to help become familiar with InstallShield) so I initially made it without the redistributables. Then I added them and the install time was just as quick even though the Setup.exe was much larger with the redistributables added. I've searched all over and can find nothing about this.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I think I understand how you feel to be left alone by the Setup Wizard.
I just received the right answer http://community.installshield.com/showthread.php?t=145621
problem is that Install Shield exists quite àa while and was designed originally for VB and VC++ aso and not for VFP.
Si you need to say to the installshield it's VFP you want.
