We have developed a Website for our client which run in IIS 5.0.We wanted to update the website,by dumping all the files in that virtual directory with a help of the installshield.

Is it possible, when someone runs the install sheild exe file,it will automatically dump all the files in the virtual directory of the website of IIS server, and upsate the files, and updates the files.

if the virtual directories are created through IS, IS will take care of doing the cleanup for you. Are you using a MSI based project? If so you can do the virtual directory creation in the Server Configuration option.
