Hi,

Is there a way to set a Path Variable value with the value of an environment variable from a build machine?
Such as: <PATH_VAR> C:\%Environment_VAR%\temp

Thank you in advance!

When you create your path variable in the Path Variables view, in the Type field you can select Environment to associate the value with an environment variable...

Cool, the Type field is a dropdown for not read only path variables.

Thank you very much.

Execuse me if the question is too naive (I am starting using InstallShield express 5.0 and Professional 7.1.)
Where is this "Path Variables view'? In IS Express it is easy for me to add an environment variable (user's and system's) but I simply can't find an easy way to do the same in Professional. May be I did not go to this view?

I use InstallShield 10.5 professitional. You can find Path Variables from Installation Designer tab-> Media tree -> Path Varialbes.
