View Full Version : Creating a MSSQL installer

I'm struggling with trying to create a new installer with 10.5 Premier.

I've created a new Basic MSI project. I go into SQL Scripts, and create a new connection then I check "create database if absent", Next I created a new script which generates all my tables, when I go to the script tab all the tables, sp's, functions are in the list (the script is correct). Also under the script tab "run script during install" is checked. What else is needed to get the installer to work? Does IS not create the SQL LOGIN and/or sequence for the SQL DB for me?
I left Default target server name blank, does this need a server name?

The installer returns no errors, but appears to do nothing. Neither the DB nor the tables are actually being created through the installer, What am I missing?

thank you,

I created a new basic MSI project and did what I explained above and it worked... I'll do some further searching.
